Our Epic Story

Epic Beginnings

Mike Moriarty has been in the Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch business since he started cooking to work his way through college at CSU in 1984.  In 1989 Mike moved to Greeley as the kitchen manager for Rayno Seaser for a new exciting breakfast, brunch & lunch concept, which he would buy in 1996 as the first franchisee.  In 1998 he purchased the Cheyenne location and opened a second Greeley location in 2002.  Being part of a thriving breakfast restaurant concept was exciting and opened the door to many opportunities.

Christy Moriarty has extensive experience with food and management working in Albertson’s butcher block and as a seafood merchandiser for North East Seafood. Christy is a foodie and has a passion for great and delicious food.  In 2015 Mike and Christy met, fell in love and joined forces just in time for big changes; leaving the franchise group and re-brand as their own Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch –  Epic Egg breakfast restaurant concept.  This decision revived an entrepreneurial and epicurean spirit and allowed the Moriartys to focus on local flavors, local businesses and pledging 1% of sales toward local charities.

Divine Dinnerz has been Christy’s vision since before we met in 2015. Being busy with Egg & I operations and then rebranding to Epic Egg, Divine Dinnerz was placed on the back burner. Christy’s desire is to “bring dinner back to the table” and provide delicious homemade top quality meals.  The coronavirus shutdown is the perfect opportunity to roll out some Divine Dinnerz options.  All Divine Dinner meals are made with quality ingredients and no added preservatives.  We are looking forward to bringing dinner back to your table.
